Friday

For a pair of shoes

Tuesday

Go on green

I was angry with my friend:
I told my wrath, my wrath did end.
I was angry with my foe;
I told it not, my wrath did grow.
And I water'd it in fears,
Night & morning with my tears;
And I sunned it with my smiles
And with soft deceitful wiles.

(William Blake, A Poison Tree)

Monday

Mixed patterns, one more chapter

I never thought this one would work, but... loved it <3>

Stripes

I really like stripes, and I've been enjoying to mix them with polkadots. As you can see now, the top I wore here is more of a tunic dress. I got it at Fairweather. They have great deals - you just have to know what to buy.

Bag is from Lug (this one).

Saturday

More plaid

Mixed patterns, here we go! I love playing with this <3 br="br">

Friday

Round collar

Here's another look, now that I'm trying to take my blog more seriously:

Bag: Abercrombie&Fitch
Sweater: Forever 21
Boots: Urban Outfitters
Jeans: somewhere in Uruguay

I really don't think you have to have tons of clothes... you just have to match them differently. And if there's something you really like, you need time to wear it over and over. Right now, as you can see, I've been wearing these boots a lot, even if I have other boots in my closet!

Thursday

An early Spring?

Groundhog Day is a holiday celebrated on February 2 in the United States and Canada. According to folklore, if it is cloudy when a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day, then spring will come early. If it is sunny, the groundhog will supposedly see its shadow and retreat back into its burrow, and the winter weather will continue for six more weeks.
(From Wikipedia)

Ontario’s Wiarton Willie and Nova Scotia’s prognosticating rodent Shubenacadie Sam failed to see their shadows on Thursday morning. (...) However, the predictions by the Canadian groundhogs are at odds with Pennsylvania’s Punxsutawney Phil, who is calling for six more weeks of winter.
(From The Star)

Wednesday

Plaid shirt

We haven't had many cold days this Winter. I can't say that I miss them, but if it continues like this we'll get to March, Spring, and it'll almost feel as if we didn't have any Winter at all. Yesterday it was 10 degrees, but fortunately we had some snow two days ago. It accumulated but now it has completely melted away. What I really don't like is the amount of rain and mixed precipitation that may come in the next few days.

The vest I'm wearing belonged to my mom. Obviously, the jeans and the bag are the same you saw in the last post, and the shirt is from Abercrombie & Fitch.

Tuesday

Lilac

I can only remember where I got the shoes and the belt (Ardene) and the bag (Forever 21). Oh, the jeans was bought in Uruguay. But, when we like an outfit, following the style is more important than buying the exact same pieces, right?

Thursday

I ♥ this skirt

What I remember:
Skirt: Zara
Bag: Forever XXI

Earmuffs

Lazy.

Here's exactly what I wear on my lazy days: red, black, and white - and maybe some polkadots (the extra bag is for a trip to the library).

Tuesday

Hubby's style

Here and there, my husband gets some shirts he doesn't enjoy that much (yes, they may come from me, but not for me; not on purpose, at least ;-).

Whenever possible, I grab some items from his closet...

Here's what I've chosen for today:

Shirt: Pierre Cardin.
Sweater: was given to me years ago.
Boots: Urban Outfitters.
Bag: bought in a gift shop in Ottawa.
Necklace: boutique @ the Canadian Museum of Civilization.
Skirt: Hering.
Legwarmers: Dollarama (!).

Bag closeup:

Shoes and legwarmers:

Black and white, still

Boots: Urban Outfitters.
Top: H&M.
Pants: just a pair of black tights.
Skirt: got when I was 15 (looong time ago).
Bag: don't remember where I got it from.

Wednesday

Black and white

I love black and white, sometimes with a touch of red. I try on a bunch of colours, but when I really want to feel comfortable, there they come: the black and the white, in different pieces and patterns.

Monday

Chilly

I don't care about the weather getting cold, but I really don't like such amount of rain.
(What I should really care about is my hair. Urgent hydration needed.)

Thursday

Cozy Winter

Enjoying my last days of vacation before returning to Toronto.

Saturday

More brown

Friday

My closet speaks

Daylight savings time

I wore this outfit to go grocery shopping at night.
The bag--bought in Montreal--says: "Qui pense peu se trompe beaucoup", by Da Vinci. I totally agree with his saying. Although I think we have to be spontaneous, I am all for planning ahead and examining the consequences of our actions.

Thursday

Summer's still in town

... after all, it is about to begin!

Sunday

Nude rose

We went for a coffee and, since I was wearing a pink nail polish, I decided to include some nude rose:

Saturday

Playing with your clothes

This is something I love to do and have fun with.

Friday

Boots: a love affair

I love boots, and I will wear them while I still can. After all, it doesn't quite feel like Spring yet, right?
